UHF connectors feature a threaded coupling and are popularly used because of its ease of assembly. The UHF solderable screw-on termination feature requires no specialized crimping tools. It is a widely used standard connector for HF transmission lines on full-sized radio equipment, with BNC connectors predominating for smaller, hand-held equipment. UHF are screw (5/8 x 24UNEF) coupled and suitable for use up to 300MHz and are typically used in amateur radio, CB radio and VHF.

  • Optional reducing adapters accommodate a wide range of popular coaxial cables
  • Solder termination types require no special assembly tools
  • Crimp termination types provide a lower cost installation method
  • Large-size threaded coupling is a rugged design
  • Non-demanding specifications and low cost
