The MMCX Connector (Micro-Miniature Coaxial) series is a micro-miniature version of the MCX. It has the all features of the MCX series, including 50 Ω impedance with a broadband capability of DC to 6 GHz and secure, fast and easy snap-on/ snap-off coupling, and a wide range of available connectors. However, MMCX connectors have a smaller foot print than the MCX series.
Like the MCX, the MMCX series conforms to the European CECC 22000 specification.
A range of connectors are available, including surface mount, edge card, and cable connectors.
MMCX(micro-miniature coaxial) series are similar to MCX but smaller was introduced in the 1990’s. MMCX series also use snap-on coupling and 50 OHM MMCX connectors provide broadband capability from DC to 6 GHz. Versions of MMCX Connectors are available for flexible, conformable, and semi-rigid cable types. MMCX series are available for mounting to printed circuit boards utilizing through-hole soldering, press-fit and surface mount type (SMD). Solder and crimp type are used to assemble to MMCX connectors to cables.
