SMC CONNECTORS The SMC connector series is designed with an interface that features threaded coupling with 10-32 threads for various applications up to 6 GHz. The SMC coaxial connectors offer broadband performance with low reflection DC to 10 GHz and are available in 50-ohm configurations. Based on a similar design to the SMB solution, the screw-on locking mechanism of SMC connectors provides a reliable connection which is primarily used in telecommunications and instrumentation applications.
